CONVERTING PLASTIC WASTE TO FUEL THROUGH PYROLYSIS

KIFF SYSTEMS – PLASTIXMAX OPTICAL SORTING COMBINED WITH  KIFF SYSTEMS – WASTX KP 1000 PYROLYSIS PLANT

SECTION 1: Pre-sorting and separation of commingled plastics:

All electrical equipment provided by Kiff shall meet or exceed applicable National Electric Code (NEC) specifications and International Electrical Code (IEC) specifications. Mechanical components and assemblies shall be designed and fabricated following accepted industry standards. Equipment mechanical components shall be powder-coated or painted with industrial quality paint. The Equipment shall be designed and configured to allow erection on a concrete floor or structure with a 25mm per 6,000mm maximum mean deviation in elevation. All electronic, electrical, and mechanical components shall carry a one-year warranty on workmanship and performance.

  1. The Automated Optical Sorting Module offered is:

One (1) 1200mm Single-Eject PlasticMax™, Model CMB1200-2U

The KIFF SYSTEMS – PlasticMax™ Sorting Module shall be of industrial duty construction and shall be rated for continuous duty operation. It shall generate two output streams from one input streams (one ejected fraction, one pass fraction) from a pre-shredded mixed and sized plastic scrap. It shall provide for the classification and separation of the following commodities:

– HDPE, LDPE

– PP, EVA, PE

All items are identified using an array of NIR opto-electronics to measure the properties of each individual item passing beneath the sensor. The PlasticMax™ identifies the different material categories and activates the appropriate air jets for upward or downward ejection.
